GH1 and After Effects or Premier workflow?

Hello, I have AE CS5 and Premiere CS5. I'm on a PC. I connect to my GH1, drag the 720p MTS file to my desktop. I open AE, import the file then I export as Quicktime using H.264 compression set to 90 quality. Original file was just under 300mb, the exported file becomes very large. What's the best way to keep the HD 720 quality and export the file so it's not so huge? I want to upload the videos to Vimeo but want to have best quality possible.

Thx

I export my gh1 files in AE as H.264 (not quicktime) with a bitrate of 25 Mbs/s for later uploading to vimeo. That works nicely for me.

Thanks but I see there are a bunch of other settings under Video tab in H264:
Profile
Level
Encoding
Target bitrate
Max bitrate
Advance Settings

Can you tell me what you set these at?
Thanks!

Im not at my HP workstation right now, which has a quicktime h.264 custom profile, but I know that setting a keyframe for every frame produces great results albeit larger files.

I just found out that since I have CS5 collection, I can use Adobe Media Encoder which comes with presets for Vimeo and I heard it's better to export out of Encoder than AE itself.
