Nothing mind blowing but I've just been doing a lot of testing lately and thought I'd post this. The lens I used was an old Canon FL 28mm f/3.5 which is an *ok* lens but not really that great, however, I think it turned out alright. This scene has a lot of detail, but not a lot of movement (some), I think the codec held up pretty good.

that looked very very good! the codec did hold up well and it was very sharp.

cant wait to see some other footage :)

Wow, I want one!

One question...what did you do with your pulldown removal; the cars seem a little jerky down there.

Pulldown was removed with Cineform Neoscene, this was compressed heavily and downres'd before it even got to Vimeo, so when you factor in their compression on top of it, I think it may be a compression issue, I don't find it jerky in the footage I've got. I was shooting at 1/50 - I believe that's what most folks recommend for "filmlike movement" in 24P, correct?

Oh it is coming! The feature film shooting starts mid-February (been moved back a bit because of talent schedule conflicts). Will end up mixing anamorphic footage with non-anamorphic footage (will crop) because I have a number of low light shots and you just can't shoot at f/1.2 with the anamorphic adapter...just doesn't work, I think it should end up being pretty seamless - gonna use anamorphics whenever I can - but close-focus shots are a problem with the adapter. That said, doing daylight exteriors where you are able to stop down looks really great I think with the anamorphic adapter, so I'm going to use it for that.

Will have more tests up soon - I will be giving it a test on the Olympus 17mm 2.8, Panasonic 20mm 1.7 and my Canon 24mm 1.4L.

Trying to decide if I'm going to end up renting the Panny 7-14 f/4 too. It won't work with the anamorphic adapter because of the shape of the front element and no filter ring, but man I can envision some nice close up wides with that puppy! I'm a wide-angle fiend.

I won't be able to post full clips from the film but I will upload some lens test footage, stuff that won't be in the final cut, etc.
