GH1 A/V out digital won't put out live video..

Hey, so I've had the GH1 for a while now and before, I would always output live video onto a monitor just so not everybody is looking off the tiny camera screen. I would connect it though the A/V out digital and use the cable provided by lumix. Obviously, when I would start recording, it would shut off but it was still useful when on standby. A few days ago, I tried the same thing and it didn't work. It only puts out live video when it's on playback mode or the menu but only when the playback selection of the menu is selected. I'm assuming I must have changed a setting or something because I'm positive I've used this same external monitor before. I've been scratching my head for the longest time. What did I do? What's causing my live output to stop??

There's a live-feed mode that gets triggered by holding down the trash button, did you do that? It's in the GH1 FAQ.
