GH1/2/13 on a cable cam??

Hey guys,

I built a pretty decent cable cam for my HMC150 a year or two ago. I'm thinking about building an improved setup, but based on the same idea. In a few days, my only camera will be a GH13. Will my GH13 give me decent results with rolling shutter and all?

Here's a video showing what kind of shots I got with my HMC.

Maybe I'll have to stick to shots that are aimed parallel to the cable line as opposed to the shots seen in this video (perpendicular)?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wanted to thank you for sharing this idea. I have been recording awesome video with my gh13 and I don't see why your cable DIY setup would not work well... Al

yeah man! works great with CCD camcorders! And from the looks of this video I just found looks like it'll be even better with the clarity of the GH13!!
