GH2 GH 2 RAW images act strange Windows 7

Does anyone know about this problem. About 20 to 50% of the RAW images I shoot look strange in windows explorer and windows picture viewer. They look the same in Picasa viewer. But it is not all the RAW images, just some leading me to believe it is not the camera but the viewer. All the images look fine in Adobe Lightroom. I exported same image in Lightroom and Picasa to jpeg. You can see the problem. Hard to describe. Anyone have any advice on this? Is it just a codec problem in Picasa and Windows?P1030384.jpgP1030384-2.jpg
 
As far as I know, RAW should be processed with proper software and I don't think Picasa is it. Windows doesn't even open RAW on my machine, I need to use either Bridge or Photoshop Camera Raw.
 
i cant open raw also from win picture viewer. have yet to find a free 64bit raw plugin. i use lightroom myself
 
The camera comes with a pretty decent RAW extractor program... Silkypix I think ti's called. Since I upgreaded to CS5 though I just do it in there...
