So I've been wrangling this for a couple days now but I've got it mostly sussed out.
I'm working on a project we recently shot on the GH-1 in collaboration with an editor in Chicago.
Our workflow in the past has always been for me to transcode the footage to downrezed photojpeg and send him the files either via ftp or on a few DVD's.
So here's my question, the GH-1 footage is all shot at 60p and I like that all the footage has the option of slow motion but I don't want to make two versions of every single file, one retimed and one original soooooooooooo
can I tell the editor if he wants a clip in slow motion set the speed to 40% (24/60) and then I'll retime only those clips later?
Am I doing this math right? Will I run into issues?
