GH-1 HEINEKEN SPOTS: Finally

It is great to see such good stuff shot with the GH1. I got mine yesterday and the only concern I have is if the video is going to suffer from allot of "mud," or a new one for less money will be out next month. The fact that they are trickling in to retailers make me wonder WTF is going on?

I understand the limitations, but really do want an all in one camera for my travels. I just upgraded from the SX1 IS and even that shot pretty damn good video outdoor in the sun.

The whole point my post is to make myself feel good about the purchase. Then again, there is Ebay.

Very innovative editing, great shots, works within the GH1's codec limitations nicely.

Ahhh I feel like a beer now. Although in the future this drink advertising will be banned by the UK government... the wankers. :beer:

Which Nikon fisheye was used?

Very nice. Was the very first shot also Gh1?

I like the motion graphics but specifically the way they fit in with the video.
 
My GH1 will never produce images like that.

Because it hasn't got you behind it!

10.5 baby! The shot with the guy breaking in the Space suit... it was RIGHT agains the DJ's chest so that's how we got both hands in at the same time.

Yeah I didn't DP! LoL I just backed Max up on the camera. Max Goldman is an incredible DP and I'm happy to get a chance to help him out and work with him at any point that I can. I even got excited about shipping him some old school lenses to use on a shoot he did with the MKii. lol

I heard he's doing some more GH-1 and MKii stuff. =P Don't be surprised if he rolls up on you with some Anamorphic footage.

Every last shot is with the GH-1. I am going to try to see about a Full HD version to be posted on Vimeo or somewhere asap.

Wish you guys could see the raw footage!
 
Excellent work. Good to see that what I suspected was true. You can do great work with this little beast. Now that I have my own, thanks to AbelCineTech, I can see how great it shoots, especially in 1080P. Thanks Kholi and Max Goldman for proving what the pros can do with the GH1 at 1080P.
