I have been looking at the recent videos of the GF2 and came across this. At the 2 min mark you can hear how the gf2 can have an attached external mic using the hot shoe and port on the back. I am not sure if this is true or not, but it would be nice if a external mic was optional for the gf2 and maybe gf1 also. Anyone else hear about this?

It can be possible. Buit could be only Panasonic proprietary mike.
I would like to see a hot shoe adapter with a 3.5mm jack.
