GF2 Hack???

Ive searched and search cant find a stable hack!! Every time i search GF2 Hack, i find GH2 hack stuff. I find GH2 hack and comments of GF2 hack but nothing clean cut.


"here is a GF2 hack that does...."

I just find a bunch of jibberish. Its nuts!! I found one thread with 12 different hacks but all compiled into one thread and talk about gh2 and GF2. VERY frustration.
I dont know why I cant find seperate threads on this stuff.

Can someone point me in the direction of a stable GF2 hack.

Take a look at the link below. I hacked my GF2 over the Summer and have had no problems with it, but I can't remember which hack I used.

Keep in mind that you need good quality SDHC memory cards just like the GH2 does, so I would recommend something like the SanDisk Extreme 45MB/sec cards. Not the cheapest cards around, but very reliable.

ill find something at some point.

This camera seems very frustrating compared to the gh2. Is there a way to do 1080 on extele mode?

After some research I found out it cant do 1080 in etc mode. One frustration complete. I couldn't figure out for the lif og me why it wouldnt stay in etc mode.

So now i think I got it! Now just looking for hack to boost the quality.
 
I have been using the settings of "King of Tweaks":

To me it's quite much more useful than the Sanity hacks that I found here:

"King of Tweaks" setting enables the playback in camera and boosts max. bitrate up to 100Mbps. I also found reduced jello effect -- my subjective observation, though.

Just first download & run ptools and then load the King of Tweaks's settings (.ini file) and save a new FW version to update the cameras FW in camera. Basic procedure...
