I own a GF1 but I do not have a Full HD TV.
Today I went to a shop and asked the sale assistant to insert my SD card on the Viera Link.
The screen was a 42inch LCD Full HD TV set, IPS LCD.
To be honest I was not impressed by the quality of the GF1 video as rescaled up to match the 1080 resolution. I was expecting a very sharp image, but I could clear see rescaling artifact.
I have a few question for you
1) If I head filmed with GH1 on 1080p would I have seen a much better picture?
2) if I ead fimed with a cheap compact camera at 1080i would have been better?
2) If I hack the GF1 and start to record to a higher bit rate would the quality be any better for viewing on a Full HD Video?
3) Should I rescale it up with a software to 1080 to get a better view?
4) Any other advice?
