I recently bought a GF1 from a mate, he had used PTools to apply the hack to enable the extra features and I have been pretty happy with the video results. However the latest hack which allows manual controls was very appealing and I decided to apply the setting which is where my problems started unfortunately my mate never bothered to keep a record of how he had numbered the firmware changes :angry:. In camera it states it is firmware version 1.8 and I thought {obviously wrongly lol} that all I had to do was number it higher and as such tried 1.9 with no luck after trying several numbers with no luck and even trying the revert to original firmware suggestion from another thread on here had no effect no matter what I have tried it does not detect the firmware and I just get the no valid picture screen.
I would be very grateful if anyone could come up with a suggestion or guide as to what I should do, at the moment strangling my mate seems to be my favoured option lol.
