GF1 firmware - can not find the FHD settings

Hello,

I'm playing with my camera since hours... upgrading firmware over firmware, changing the version and everything... turned my camera into japonese and reput it back to english with the ptool3... So I did change the firmware with Ptool3, checked all the options of video (for the GF1__122.dll)

The problem, I can not find the new features for the video, FHD setting is not in the option.

What have I done wrong ?
(I was having the version 1.2 of the camerabody, can it be the problem)
 
thanks for the link, really appreciated... its exactly what i've done... the way you've done it. Update the version, but can not find the FHD icon, in the quality scroll... like on your movie... I changed the version and everything... still no 1080p available...

copy paste your video in Ptool3... transfert succeded... still can not have more than HD in mpeg and not more than SH in AVCHD. Is there something I don't know... sorry to bug you but I'm kind of getting crazy loosing hours and hours... and getting my firmware now to version D.F...

I was wondering too if there was a way to come back (I know its possible on the GH1) to the original firmware 1.2 and reset the version to 1.2 as the hack is kinf of not working.
 
try to shoot with HD mjpeg mode.
if you set the correct parameters,
you will get the FHD icon in playback mode by clicking the display button few times.
theres no way to set AVCHD to get more than SH... for now...

I would not worry about FHD, I too had the same problems, Just be happy with hack and the quality... I went off the link and cannot get FHD to show....your not the only one.
 
SUPER... just checked my videos... its super. Its just the icon that was missing. Sorry and thanks.
