GF1 and Aspect Ratio for 1440x1080

Hello,

I would like to ask if the new Ptool correct the aspect ratio information in the
movie file if I set the mpeg resolution to 1440x1080. It would be great to watch
such clips without modification. I can set aspect ratio information
manually in QuickTime Pro for each file but it is endless work..

It is unlikely that this will ever happen, because of the way the camera utilizes the sensor to shoot video. The camera is locked into using a 16:9 aspect ratio while recording (none of the hacks have been able to alter this yet) and the hacked video size option simply stretches or pulls the video into the dimensions you want, so 1440x1080 would be squished vertically. Why are you having to modify the clips in quicktime? What is wrong with having clips that are 1920x1080 unless you're intercutting with HDV footage you shouldn't have any need to change their aspect ratio just to watch them.
