I shot this for a club and noticed flickers, These ones are just with whenever there is flash that the flashes show straight lines around the video. I also have footages that shows weird digital posterization flickers. I will upload those as well. Im thinking because I have 24p Native checked. I didnt have problems before. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just looks like CMOS flash effect...

The CMOS can't read the entire flash frame thus giving the weird streaks...

Cheers

the first clip is a flash thing. i have noticed it too (no native patch) at a concert with photog's shooting away in my clips. the shutter doesnt catch the flash fast enough and so only catches whatever is in sync at the time be it half the screen or wherever because it records top to bottom.

the second clip i am having trouble trying to see what you see. all i see is the club lights going nuts and thats what is shown on the people.

There is skew when you pan the camera in the second clip? That's another bonus of CMOS imagers - you'll need to slow your panning down and / or be wider on the lens to minimize the effect.

the gh2 is rumored to have a global shutter which would solve these problems.
Yes, but that rumor is 99.999% guaranteed nonsense. You should never believe those rumor sites, because they rarely ever have any idea what they're talking about.

Sorry for the late response. The first clip ... My question was answered. The second clip.... After uploadimg the glitches disappeared which means it probably has something to do with my video card. Anyways....since noticing the uploads ...these are raw .mts footages...can I get this clearer on vimeo somehow? Program? Codec program? Cineform?
