My wife is due an upgrade so we are going to get her the Iphone 4 and just ebay it to put into a "travel fund." So, my question is simply how do I get the most out of it on here or on ebay? I see most of the highest priced ones on ebay are "factory unlocked" which if I understand right- that is not an option for me to do personally but something that must be done by an international carrier or by Apple/ATT themselves?
So what is jailbroke, unlocked, etc and should I do those things before listing it on here or ebay or should I just leave it in the box just like we get it from the store and put it on ebay that way?
