Getting rid of the rolling lines in TV monitor?

I have tried every setting in my DVX100 camera, (shutter speeds, etc.) but am unable to totally get rid of all the rolling lines whenever I'm shooting toward a monitor. I have a big shoot this weekend and need to be able to shoot toward a television screen.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

For shooting a television screen (in the US), just set the shutter to 1/60th. That'll eliminate any rolling bars on a TV.

For a computer monitor, either set the monitor to a 60hz refresh rate, or do as David said and use the Syncro-Scan function (sic).

Best thing to do, if possible, is to use a LCD/TFT display. They don't scan like a CRT monitor.
