Getting on IMDB

Hello. I have a feature I made that will be showing at a Canadian film festival later this month. I've read the requirements for IMDB to get my movie on there and I'm not sure if it qualifies. It's low budget, digital, horror/thriller.

I've seen a lot of names on IMDB that have credit for some small short nobody has ever seen.

What I want to know is how can I get my credit/feature on IMDB? Thanks

Like IMDB says - the project must be of the "general public interest"
(kinda vague...i know)

If you feel it's up to the requirements, then submit it - then wait 6-8 weeks to see if they reject it or not.

Just a thought.

Okay here is how it is done...two ways...

1. After it shows at the film festival, submit to the IMDB, and put the link to the title of your movie at the festival to prove it showed there. If the festival can deny some viseos, and yours was accepted, IMDB will put it onto the system.

2. Submit it with the "release date" it will have and put evidence linking to it being out of post production or somethin. (A trade journal, newspaper articel...etc.) The more info, cast, crew etc...the better for this listing. Also, have another person from your cast or crew submit the same information at the same time so it is confirmed from another source.

Here is my IMDB. Oh...Get IMDB Pro as well...it helps them believe you in my experience.

Good Luck!
