Made this for my fiance :)

I don't post much here, but I come here several times a day and just read. I appreciate all the help and support this forum has given me in regards to film stuff (and sometimes other life things). I wouldn't be where I am today without all of your help so thanks for everything :)

2 questions for you though

I really liked how it faded in/burned in, the color grade looked as if it was transitioning from a "summery" look where the trees and leaves had a lot of yellow in them, to a darker green woodsy look (and than the footage "burned" again and went back to yellow when you say "love is patient"). How did you do that "burn in" at the beginning of the video?


2.) did you use just natural light? I'm wondering because the shot at 1:11 looks looks very clear so I'm wondering if you got that using just natural light, or if you lit the scene, or if it was green screened?!

Hey guys, just got back!

@Saharanturtle, I did the burn in's with custom light leak/film burns that I made. You can find them in my signature if you're interested. I got tired of using the same 3-4 free film burns so I made a bunch of my own./

And I did just use natural light, no greenscreen.

Hang on to this video so that 10...20 years from now you guys can watch and re-watch to remind yourselves what this trips all about.

...by the way...that was cool how she just shows up right as we hear her voice.
