Getting DVX to shoot directly into PC

What settings that I need to do to get the footage directly into PC without tape ?
I am currently using premiere pro 1.5

Just hook it up through Firewire and open the Capture window (F5 on PC). Hit record in the Capture window and you're rolling.

Check out DV Rack. there is a free demo version available. It is an impressive Pro tool that will cature the footage straight to your dirves, or remote drives.
You can definitely use your editing program to do this, but try out Dv Rack, it will spoil you rotten.
It has too many professional production features to get into here.

By capturing i don't even have to press the record button ?
only capture on the NLE ?

Correct, your computer can capture without the camera recording. In fact, you don't even need a tape in the camera.

Or just buy the Quickstream DV.
