Getting a P.A Job in vancouver.

[Adam J McKay]

Hey guys,

I moving to Vancouver in a month and am looking at trying to get some P.A jobs to start my "Film School" career. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as the best way to go about that? Is there anyone out there in DVX land that can directly give me a hand? Any users out in Vancouver?

Let me know,
Thanks

Hey...
I actually came out here this summer to do that as well...
check out the dgcbc website, which is appropriately located at www.dgcbc.com there is a list of all the current DGC productions on that site, and I would start by writing up a resume and cover letter and addressing it to the ALM, (assistant locations manager) for each show. It might take a bit of time and some luck, but someone may call you, and bring you on to thier show for a day or two.
When your there, meet everyone you can, you never know who might be able to get you your next job..

Hope to see you on set soon!
If you have any questions, post 'em here, or send me a message!
