Getting a D40!

If it's your first DSLR remember that you can't view the image live on the lcd you look through the viewfinder, also their really fun, good luck.
 
Thanks for that! At first I was a little confused, but soon realized that looking through the viewfinder is much better anyway. Even if I could use the LCD, I think I'd use the viewfinder. I've been enjoying myself and I'll start posting some pictures soon.

Grats on getting it, yeah I don't think i'd be able to hold up my DSLR and look at the lcd, would look funny and its heavy.
