MUSIC VIDEO: Get the Picture

Enjoyed most of the editing as well as the shots. Some of the editing seems less "consistent" if you will and seems like filler type stuff. The use of the mirroring could've been done less maybe or more effectively. Could you give some specs?

It's a good idea. The tone of the video complements the sound well, and I think you did a good job.

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. What exactly do you mean by specs? I hate to admit I'm not familiar with all the terminology..

No problem! Just the specifications on the video i.e video editor, anything specific on the colour grade, days to edit, days to film etc. Mainly the technical stuff interests me :p The video quality is top notch and commercial in my opinion.

Oh okay, sure. I used Sony Vegas Pro 12 for editing and Magic Bullet for the color correction. I modified some presets to get the look I wanted. It was about 2 days of editing. All the other effects were done within Vegas itself.

We filmed the whole thing in about 4 hours over the course of one day. There was no real planning, it was all on the spot.

I used the Canon 18-135mm STM lens, a cheap shoulder rig, and a small LED light for the night shots.
