Up for sale is a gently used Genustech Hot Plate baseplate. Includes everything pictured: baseplate, extension rods, manual and camera screws.
Shows minor signs of wear and one of the knobs to lock the rods is slightly stripped -- seems to have been overtightened by the owner before me -- but is still able to securely tighten and hasn't given me any problems.
This baseplate is unique in that it features open, tool-less access to the thumb screws which secure the camera to the baseplate. It also features 2 fixed positions for height adjustment.
Works great with the Sony FS100, Panasonic AF100, Sony F3, and other similarly styled camera bodies. Genus also sells a VCT-14 tripod plate adapter for use with this baseplate.
I bought this kit on this forum last October and am now looking to move to a system with an integrated shoulder pad.
This is a great plate! Retails for around $400. I'm asking $195 shipped via USPS Priority Mail to anywhere in the CONUS.
