F3: GenusTech F3 top cheese plate wont fit.

Hi,
I bought top cheese plate from Genustechfor F3 but the plate not fit properly.
When I tighten 2 screws to install it, the front end of the plate (see picture) did touch the base of the handle and left some marks so i released screws.
I though it was me but when I investigated I found that the plate is a bit shorter than it should be.

Bummer. I have the Berkeyplate and it fits and I thought these two were as compatible.

I just modified it by using sandpaper. I am not sure this is only me or everyone else who adopted it.
