I have a Libec 38 tripod. And I want to buy some rigging equipment for the 5D. So I need a baseplate to put all this stuff on. But how do I know if the baseplate fits onto my tripod (a Libec LS-38)? I´ve tried looking through reviews, but there's never a mention of baseplate measurements and size. Are these things generic standards?

My Libec tripod has a baseplate, which with one screw and one pin, you know...the one which fits into regular DV-cams. But I dont have one of those baseplate, which have 30 different holes for scews to attach all kinds of things onto.
