I'm sorry for posting this here, but couldn't find a specific place to post this question and since I'll use it with the Varicam I'm posting it here:
Is it possible to put a grid pattern (thirds) on the O7Q screen? I'm going to use the O7Q to record raw, so I don't want to send anything from the camera and I'd like to use the O7Q for framing too.

I've tried finding it on the O7Q, without success.
 
Yes, on the Odyssey7Q you can generate custom frame guides. These guides can be set to extend fully to the end of the frame or end as a box. You will need to manually position the lines, but there is a numerical readout for vertical and horizontal positions, so some simple math can help you land on precise thirds. You can also set these lines to appear in a variety of colors.
