General DVX Questions

Hello everyone! I got a DVX100b not long ago, and thought i should join up here. Seems like a great site.

I have been searching around the site for a while, and have found alot of helpful things, but i would just like to ask a few questions about using the DVX, and accessories, since before this i just had a little Panasonic AV-GS9. My goal with this camera is to shoot horror type films, mostly shorts, but i also have a few feature length scripts i would like to shoot for DVD. Also i would like shooting some music videos.

I was just wondering what, if any, accessories(like lens) yall would recommend?


Also, what is the best aspect to film in, Normal, Letter Box, or Squeeze?

I hate asking noob like questions, but 'never ask, never learn'

i'm actually still searching around. I just wanted to introduce myself, and thought i'd ask in here rather than start a new discussion in an old topic. :cheesy:

cool welcome. i know there are a few huge threads on your whole should i shoot letterbox or squeeze etc. question

lately i have become a fan of shooting in squeeze mode
