Gemini Microphones?

Anyone heard of the GEMLAVX4 lavalier mic? It's an XLR mic for $35 shipped at many stores online and looks like a really good deal. I haven't purchased a lavalier before and I know they vary greatly in price.. Was wondering if anyone was familiar with Gemini products.

Also, has anyone purchased from Fullcompass.com before?

I googled the heck out of this microphone but couldn't find any reviews of it.

Good (but very loose) rule of thumb for mics in general is under $100 is not going to be up to par. Over $200 more likely to do the job.

I agree with the previous posters. For almost any application, the Geminis will leave you unsatisfied.

However, it might be a good investment if your lavs are likely to get dunked or crushed.

And to answer the second half of your question, Full Compass is legit. I've ordered from them twice, had no problem.

Full Compass is a very class act joint. Real audio guys giving out experienced audio advice.

cheers
