F5: Gaussian Blur to softener F5 footage?

wondered if people Would add Gaussian Blur to softener F5 footage? which I think looks too sharp

When I do two camera shoots with my F5 & F3, I usually add a Tiffen SoftFX 1/2 to my F5. Very subtle but helps match them up better.

Wow a softFx 1/2? Is the F5 that much sharper than an F3? Can you do it with detail settings?

It is noticeable sharper. On the 5 I always have sharpening off but on a little bit with the F3. Dont forget, one camera is starting with a 4K image to get 1080 but the other is starting with 1080.

Get the low pass filter, it does wonders!
