Gamma set-up between FCP & AE

I am doing a test, exporting a 1080p clips from FCP
to a PhotoJPEG .mov file.
Then I take the same clips and export them to PhotoJPEG
from AE. Then I am taking both clips to my SD edit station.
There I am rendering them as DV clips. The quality is great but
the AE clips are a little darker than the clip from FCP,
using the exact same source clips???
I have Gamma set in FCP as accurate. AE has no Gamma set-up.
I don't think?

I think I found out what is going on.
AE by default sets up to 2.2 gamma.
I picked the Apple RGB and it looks better.
Is this right???

Also but I am not sure about your version of AE but this issue is possible.

YUV vs. RGB= FInal Cut Pro does RGB and YUV but AE ( or at least my version) does only RGB so there is a problem. I also noticed a problem with SHAKE 3.5 not liking the YUV stuff when I tried to do some Keying with PRIMATTE. Could be I need to switch something in the SHAKE menue to get it set right. For now I just switched the YUV to RGB in FCP.
