Next weekend I have a shoot planned for some pick-up shots to help finish of a feature that I shot a few years ago. The initial shots were all done on an SDX-900. For about triple the price of renting an HVX200 for the weekend I could get an SDX-900 again, but I just don't think it'd be worth it so I'm going with an HVX200.
Now, the core of my question that's begun to cause me a headache is what gamma setting on the HVX200 will best match the footage shot on the SDX-900? Given that it's been around 5 years now since the original stuff was shot I unfortunately don't remember exactly what settings we used on the SDX-900. Is there a general 'default' for that camera?
If I should try to match the HVX200 on a monitor to existing footage, what methods would be best to use in that process?
Thanks,
~Jonathan
