G35 news?

Not really. But I'm curious to know why a lot of people are still anticipating that this product might come to surface someday. All the while there are a lot of 35mm adapters to choose from. Brevis, SgPro, Letus, Redrock...whatever. The list is growing more and more, but when someone mentions the G35 they hail as if it were the king of adapters. Is this because of it being static, being one of the first? McGregor endorsing it? Was the quality that much better the rest? Anyway, I've always been curios. Maybe someone can shun some light onto my curiousity.

So Mac is like the Michael Jordan of Dp's around here eh? That's funny. I hope us adults don't think just because you have a piece of equipment you'll be as good as the person who's using it.

I've asked myself these same questions a bunch of times. You're not alone in wondering Car3o.
 
Thanks...I'm not going to knock the G35, because from all the footage I've seen, they had an impressive piece of work....way ahead of anyone in the game at the time. But now, look at what's out there and people will still say "I'm just going to wait for the G35"...it's incredible. They have a huge fan base.

Put the pepsi 35 in the hands of a talented person and you'll get good results. They were smart when they got a spokesperson of a digital DP to showcase what it's capapble of.
 
laugh, that's fantastic, one of the mods changed my Subject...people might rush the board and slow the server down if it were true.
 
If I remember correctly I think once upon a time I was #127 on the reservation list. Heck, still might be. :thumbup:

I don't think people are waiting anymore. Just look at all the Brevis, SGPro, and Letus users. People bought based on need, it's not as if they stopped all the work they were doing to wait for the G35 to come out. From what I've seen from the SGPro and Brevis adaptors if and when the G35 comes out it will have to be pretty amazing to beat what's already out there.

And really, you could put a fishercam in Macgregors hands and he would come back with amazing footage. He's a talented shooter and I don't think people would get the same results from the G35 as he did.

This is the difference between G35 and the Brevis, SGpro, and Letus approach. G35 is (possibly) perfecting the perfect adaptor somewhere in Area 51. Brevis, SGpro, and Letus release their adaptors, and then as new improvements are made newer versions come out. This is very typical of how most businesses are run. We're used to buying a camera, and then three years later an updated model comes out.

I'm going to have that song in my head all day. I'll have to download it from iTunes to get it clear out of my brain. I'll skip the video version.
