I am loving my cinemek g35. I am curious how it holds up projected on a big screen. Has anyone done a project with it that has been digitally projected in a film festival? I am thinking it holds up well since it seems to get you sharp results.

Not too many people have it yet, so probably not. What camera are you shooting with, and have you posted footage yet? I'm considering the G35, but there isn't a lot of footage out there.

I haven't posted any footage yet. If you want to see a lot of good g35 footage look up lee cummings on vimeo. He has done a lot of good work with the g35.

And to answer your question i am shooting with the hvx200a

Yeah, I've seen his stuff, and that political ad looked very nice... I just like to see a variety of stuff first.

Yes I'm stuck between the LEX and the G35 myself. I like the LEX for the low light but the G35 has good bokeh. I might end up just getting both and use the G35 when good light is available. Or just invest in some good lights haha

Sup guys, I usually don't post stuff here but this question is pretty much right down my alley. I finally got my G35 at the beginning of the month and have been filming for a while now and love it! I'm a senior at SF state University ,and I recently shot a trailer for the 49th Film Finals and it will be presented in the Castro theater (hopefully) , Red Vic, Roxie, Landmark theaters, paramount in Oakland...KQED, TV channels...Youtube, Facebook, Bliptv, etc. So far, from what I've seen on projected screens have been excellent. Now its not 3K footage but it still looks good for theater presentation. 1080i/60i on an HVX is still great.

Hello to all, i admire all the filmmakers trying to perfect their craft. I do not post much but this is something that deserves notoriety So i thought i'd add some quick input to this thread. I received my G35 and WOW, Simply beautiful , Filmic and Epic. I am using it with an EX1 and Zacuto support. Both products rock! Great E2E, very minimal CA if any, way into the TV safe zone only on a few lenses , 24mm, 85mm a little soft, those lenses are kind of tricky with the EX1 optics anyway, even with the Elite. Easy setup, very minimal tweeking and lightweight for handheld shooting. Shot interior with two 1k lights , one for key and one for back ground. Looked great , of course next week i will test more. Shot several HD charts with multiple lenses, very impressive. I will be glad to post some footage and / or screen grabs a.s.a.p but just wanted to be straight to the point, "this is the Jaguar of Bokeh "we all have been waiting for. Check out Philip Bloom's new short, it's brilliant! Jonathan is a passionate shooter and it shows in the product. This is not a corporate, industrial adapter for those average so-so jobs, this is for "Today, i'll make Lawrence of Arabia and go to bed content, realizing what i'm on this earth for, "I'm a Filmmaker!" Great work Cinemek
