GH4 G3 Z-Finder Pro with Cavision Matte Box and Hugen Cage

B&H is slipping up.. I ordered a Cavision 3x3 matte box and a GH3 Z-Finder Pro for my new GH4 and the BH "Product Professional" said they would be compatible with no problem. Well I found out the matte box won't line up properly when mounted to the bottom of the Zacuto Gorilla Plate without a Gorilla Plate adapter. I also found out that the mounting frame that came with the Z-Finder won't attach to the Gorilla Plate when the Hugen cage is used because the

So Im looking at an extra $100 + for a Zacuto extended mounting frame and a Gorilla Plate adapter, plus the cost of overnight shipping to my shoot location next week. Are these Z-Finders so great that they justify this extra cost? I don't know because I haven't used one yet..

Frankly, I see no need for a Zacuto Z finder on a GH4. The quality of the GH4 VF is high, the Z finder is superfluous. FWIW, I have a Z finder pro and do not use it all on my GH4.
 
Thanks for your feedback. Good to know that the Z Finder is not really needed. One of the reasons I thought of using a ZFinder was to deal with far-sightedness but hopefully the GH4 EVF will suffice.
