FYI DVXusers: Thank you & time is running out!

I just got on the list too. If possible I'd like to check out BOGO! as well... I'm curious to see what you guys were talking about above... (I'm the audio nut so I gotta' hear that 835).

The packaging and trailer looks interesting on it's own but with Yankee raving like that after seeing it... I expect people will snatch up the final copies. I orded it immediately after reading his glowing reviews right up there.

Maybe I should read all the way back through this thread, but it would probably be helpful to you if everybody "reviewed" your flick like they have in the zombie flicks. After buying Broken I had mixed feelings about that one and it looks like you have more of a story under your project so I'm looking forward to it. (For the extremely high level of hype behind Broken I was kind of surprised when I got it... after the flick ended I didn't really know what to think one way or the other.)

Matt,
I felt the same exact way. I bought Broken because it had this wicked trailer and I was really amped up abouot the idea that here is this cheap movie ($8000) shot on the DVX. It did nothing for me, and at the end I kept asking myself "how can I pay $11 for a copy of the Godfather at Blockbuster and $20 for this?" I bought into the hype of that movie and well, yeah. That's what happens.
This is a completely different project. First of all, it is twice as long. The acting is really good. The story is fully fleshed out. There is something about the production quality of this movie that I think just screams top quality. On top of that, I have never seen a movie shot on the DVX look this good. I will say that the extras on Broken are brilliant and really valuable, but with this you feel rewarded for dropping your hard earned cash through having a great story that has repeat viewing factors. With Broken, and I'm not trying to slam that movie, I felt like I needed to go through all the extras to get my money worth.
I know I'm raving about this flick like a madman, but I'm just excited by this movie. By the way, wait until you hear that 835... very nice tonal qualities.

Do I have to have a pay pal account or can I just order one with my credit card?
your screen name is No Ca$h and you want to know if you can pay by credit card, LOL!

Seriously though, John does except chickens or other livestock as payment sometimes.
If you don't have livestock, you can stand in for the live stock your self, which is what I did -- the swelling went down in about a week.

Thanks for your order GenJerDan, mailed out this AM! :cheesy:

Good thing I remembered before you ran out. :)

I keep reading these forums at work...but my PayPal password and such is inside a password manager - at home.

Ok, I got mine and watched only HC so far.

One word:

Bravo!

Great job John, I applaud you. Fantastic job that you and you crew/cast accomplished.

Dude, we need to work on a short together. I'm moving to Jackson, NJ next Friday and will be right outside of PA. How far are you from Jersey?

*SPOILER ALERT*

I too thought it was great...I was just wanting more when the credits began to roll. More banter between the two guys at the hunting camp leading up to the murder, more mind games with each other. That is just my first thoughts, I need to watch it again though. Overall GREAT though.

Hey Zack --- you might want to put SPOILER ALERT well before you talke about what happens at the hunting camp leading up to the ... "Alien Bat Mitzvah" ...

OK Yankee, Zack seems pretty down to earth so that indeed is one check in the sanity column for you. Although I happen to know it's a great film too, but I am completely bonkers as well so my vote will help you about as much as Coffees.
