Hello everyone,

I saw some great tutorials about FX9. Finally I bought one & having a tough time to setup the live streaming.

I followed the tutorial for Z90 but there is a menu called Streaming. Mind my lack of knowledge. this is the first time I'm using a Sony professional series camera. I'm coming from A7III and got the A7SIII as well.

I followed the instructions from here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jvrh1jA51qY&ab_channel=ingenioustv
Tried trouble shooting from the manual here - https://pro.sony/support/res/manuals/5025/9cc490d9781f2d73bac72fa580d8946f/50252871M.pdf

Still couldn't make it work. Can anyone guide me or create a step by step guide or video for Setup for “Live Streaming" on FX9.

Thanks,
Paul

Paul, this is probably not the answer you want to hear, but my advice is to forget about streaming from the camera directly and instead use something like the Blackmagic Web Presenter.

Last summer I wrote a 400 page book for the PXW-Z750 (www.z750.vortexmedia.com) and it took seven pages and more than 55 steps to do live streaming with the Z750 on Youtube. And there a dozens of little things in the process that will trip you up -- even when the instructions are followed to the letter. I don't do a lot of streaming myself, but I've got an unopened Blackmagic Web Presenter and ATEM Mini Pro switcher sitting on my shelf ready to go for when I need them. Streaming from the camera just isn't worth the hassle. Can it be done? Yes, but life isn't supposed to be that hard.

What Doug said. Make it easy and get a capture card.
BlackMagic Ultra Studio Mini HDMI/SDI to thunderbolt
or Magewell HDMI to USB 3 are two popular ones.
Or you can use a cheap switcher like the ATEM Mini.
But no reason to make it hard when it can be so easy.
