Other: FX6 gyro stabilization

Hi,
I'm trying to stabilise clips using Catalyst Browse, but the 'stabilise clip' button is grey and can't be clicked.
Any ideas where the problem could be? Does the gyro metadata recording have to be switched on in camera?

I may be wrong but I think I read that you could not use a lens with image stabilisation enabled AND then subsequently use this Catalyst stabilising capability on the footage. Those with the camera can I'm sure advise but maybe something to check?
 
Andy is correct.

Also, the lens needs to be able to communicate with the camera (i.e., a fully manual lens without electronic contacts won't work).

EDIT: also, no gyro stabilization in S&Q mode.
