Hi I own an fx1 and recently did a shot of downtown seattle and had a 20 minute shot of a highway at night, i filmed at 60i and 1/4th shutter and was wondering how fast should i speed it up to make it look good, give the cars on the highway a nice flowing light effect.

me being curious.
whats the big difference between the z1u and the fx1 I can't choose between the two.

by the way the timelapse looks pretty good.

z1u has xlr inputs, along side 1 more option for cinegamma, it also is ntsc/pal for the more popular cineframe25 looks wayyy better than cineframe 24. Its black instead of extremely dark blue (if you can tell). a higher quality viewfinder. More audio control (due to xlr). Aside from the xlr inputs where I can buy the adapter I can get the only real difference is the PAL modes.

Absolutely gorgeous! Without even looking to see your location, I recognized this as Seattle immediately. I lived there 3 years and miss it immensely. The view from Beacon Hill looking toward the city has always been a fave of mine. In fact, I'm planning a feature-length film I want to set in Seattle. Any chance you'll do some royalty-free selling of your footage? :)
