FX-1 Hard Facts ... Can someone help me out here?

Hey guys,

I plan to shot my next short this summer with the FX-1 to play a little with HD. Since I get the camera just for the actual shooting days, I want to try some perspectives with my digital SLR. So, I just want to know if someone knows the exact focus amount and if possible in terms of 35mm ... I remember something between 20 and 300 mm, but I'm not sure about it.

Another question: If I use a wide angel adapter withe the the factor 0,7 - how do I get the actual focus numbers? Just the focus value times 0,7?

I wanna thanks for your answeres in advance!

Hi,

it's 32,5 - 390 mm

As far as I overlook the subject the anamorphic lenses behavior is not linear with a converter. So maybe the pure calculus might be a bit offset.

@Philipp: thx for your information, you really helped me out here!
Not linear, man why is everything so complicated, it'd be so much more easy if it'd be linear, but never mind!

I am - as I said - not really sure and it should be in a normal range. The problem is anyway: Your SLR isn't 16:9.

A good conversion tip...
35mm v. 16 mm
a 25mm lens for a 35mm camera will be a 50mm in 16mm (2X)
16mm is almost as close in size to 2/3 ccd chip (its more 2.5X)
and a 1/3 CCD would be close to 3.5X
its a rough estimate.
any one butt in if I have the numbers wrong
