Future Short Movie Screen Grab

My first screen grab from my soon to be short movie DEAR KELLY (DVX100A)

Is my color correction ok? Can anyone give me some ideas on a better way to color correct....I am using Final Cut Pro 4.5 soon to be 5?

Both grabs look pretty nice. I don't really see a lot of difference in the color corrected version. Maybe it's just my monitor.....but whatever changes there are appear to be very subtle.

The color corrected one is pretty well saturated, but if that's the look you're going for, then sure...it's OK. You're the artist. Choose whichever style you think works best for your project.

The pic's look good. But what Zardoz said is correct - it all depends on what you are going for. If you are going for the saturated look - good job. If you are going for the blue look like in Traffic - then you missed the boat completely :cheesy:. In order to better critique your pic's we need to know what you were trying to achieve.

Try dropping the black leavels alittle bit. That might give you more of the look you are looking for. But the grabs look good to me.

I tried to lower the blacks a little more....but with no luck!

It starts to make the entire picture darker....any thoughts?
