I did a freelance shoot with a friend of mine who works for a local Production company last Saturday. The Furniture mart is a client that the Production company does work for throughout the year so they do two shoots (one in Jan and one in July) to get all of the B-Roll they can for use throughout the year on any commercials ect. they want to do. I personally own a HVX200 but we used a HPX500 with some kind of HD Canon Lens (Didn't pay attention) for this shoot. Footage colored in Final Cut and has a "glow" filter added to it for texture. Real quick and dirty. Didn't spend a whole lot of time tweaking. Love to hear what you think!

Oh also, this was shot on their 50th anniversary weekend sale. They had all kinds of artists and furniture makers there hand making couches and chairs etc. Too bad I was working, would have LOVED to have been able to take advantage of the free wine tastings!!!
 
I like the moves but personally would have liked it a lot more if it was in 24p. the interlaced movement just doesn't do it for me, other than that, good moves.
 
Giuseppe, I agree with you about the 24 p but the client made it very clear that she didnt want the footage to have a "cinematic look". She wanted it to look as "Crisp and clear" as possible.
 
Something I've learned in the movie biz... the client is always wrong lol
 
haha I 2nd your opinion. but as long as they write me the check I'll allow them to make "some" decisions.
