Fun project I thought I would share.

Hey Gang!

I mentioned a project a while back that was going to be my first shot exclusively with the DVX in very low light conditions, basically documenting Pennhurst Asylum and some ghostly hauntings that were occurring there. Here is a 3min teaser I thought I would share with you. All shot on DVXs, minus the drone footage and the shot inside the car.

Since this was shot my new go to camera package is the DVX with a GH4 and GH5 since a lot of my work is run and gun, the fixed lens camera is a must and I love the DVX!

Enjoy! and feel free to post any feedback!

Happy Shootiing!

well shot and edited - really got my interest! Also great to see the IR ability being exploited; thought I was the only one :) I remember rushing out and buying an IR illuminator on my 2nd week of ownership.

Just out of interest what is your go-to scene file? Skin tones look great.

I took a look at it and did not even see the footage only your story it is always always the story no matter the camera

Thank you Stevee!

Honestly, i usually use scene 4 or the natural setting that matches with the GH series then tweak further in post. I like the ability to use log as well and shoot flat and make adjustments later. Originally, we were there to shoot a very different project using the asylum as a backdrop so it was nice to have so much latitude in post with color space.

I love the IR abilities as well! There really isn't much this camera can't do and they play so nice with GHs.

Great footage! You're running with my setup essentially. My job bought me a DVX200 and GH5, and I own a GH4.
