I have been looking for a complete guide that will teach me how to shoot and edit videos with my D7000 while getting the best possible videoquality. Does anyone know of such?
Im looking for the settings to use, what to do and what to not do and so on so a videomaker-noob as I am can learn how to capture nice looking videos.

Take a look at the D7000 groups on Vimeo. There are lots of good video postings with information as to workflow. Additionally, use your camera and see what works.

Which video editing software(s) do you have? Since the D7000 shoots 24P (24 fps; technically 23.976) video clips, its important to have editing software that supports native 24P on the timeline.

just shoot. manual mode with neutral profile - sharpening turned down - should be your starting point. keep the ISO's low if you wanna extend the image far in post.

Bleach, care to send me the same PM? Alsways looking for tips to improve, and I just migrated over to DSLR video (D7000).

2 pages of "me too please" posts. Are we serious?

bleach, can you end this madness and post your thoughts?
