Full Color Space Frame export

Do BMP files retain the 4:2:2 color space? I'm exporting some frames from 1080 and 720 sequences with Premiere Pro (Aspect HD), and they look inferior to the timeline window. Is there a better way to go about this? How can you tell what the color space is after you've exported it?
