Fujifilm X-H1 coming?

Other thoughts on the Fujifilm X-H1 after 2.0 firmware update in Dec 2018? I hear the IBIS works great after the update. Yes, the X-T3 has many advantages, but I still see good basic uses for the X-H1. Huge price drop (Body and Grip) has me a bit interested.

If IBIS truly works better (thought it was pretty mediocre just like Sony's...Panasonic and Olympus are worlds apart) then it's a nice price for the camera, but not too sure many will choose IBIS over those advantages you mentioned.

Maybe an underrated advantage for the X-H1 is no banding in F-Log (as discussed in the other thread).

X-H1 totally has that magenta banding in F-log:

In-camera Eterna recording is completely clean, free of artifacts, despite having exactly the same codec/bitrate settings: https://vimeo.com/261294340

On X-T2/X-H1 people kinda accept it because of 8bit, but X-T3 in 10bit 400Mbps HEVC shows it is just mind boggling. Something is definitely off in the demosaicing/mapping to F-log curve stage.

True, true...yeah, it would have to be much more prevalent for me to complain about it if I had a Fuji camera (or if it was like early 4.6K models and 1/3 of the image was pink/magenta on certain units).

In this case, most people wouldn't even notice it or care for that matter. (Only nerds like us on forums.)
