had to post this here because i'm not on any photography forums. i work at a studio using fuji s5's. just recently (right when it started getting busy) we began having auto-focus problems. the cameras are always set to single-shot and center-weighted autofocus, but the 18-105 nikkor lens just wants to continuously hunt for focus. it takes forever to lock in so we miss a lot of good pictures. it's studio lighting, so it's plenty bright. the cameras are set at f11 and shutter at 1/100, so they're stopped down enough that it should be able to focus pretty quickly. i'd hope this isn't operator error, since i'd like to think i know the camera better than that and i'm not the only one this is happening to. these cameras take a lot of pictures each day. i'd say easily 1000+ photos for each camera. any ideas?
