FS700 + speedbooster + Tokina 16-28

Hi guys!

Has anyone tried to put the Tokina 16-28 2.8 PRO FX on the FS700 (or FS100) using Speed Booster? It's full frame glass but I can't focus further than 2-3 meters which really saddens me.

The only feedback I got from Metabones is that I can try to set the infinity point myself but unscrewing Speed Booster seems like a scary thing for me.

Your back focus is off - It could be the lens itself or the speed booster, possibly the camera itself which is less likely. You need to determine which.
If your other lenses work fine return the Tokina.

If they are all off - Do exactly what they said about setting the infinity point. If you have parfocal zoom lenses then screw around with the back focus until the lens holds the same focus from wide angle to telephoto - just like with a traditional ENG lens. I assume that the speed booster works the same way , but I'm not completely certain as i couldn't get a straight answer out of their support person who didn't seem to get the concept.

A good test would be to try the lens on the camera it was intended for ( I'm guessing Nikon or Canon.) If it focuses properly on that - the speed booster needs adjusting. If it doesn't work on the OEM DSLR send it back.
