Hey guys,
I've recently completed another short film on the fs700. Our latest release "The Anomaly" was shot prior to owning the 7Q. I was the DOP, cameraman and visual effects artist for this one.
This script began as a camera test to really push the slow motion features of the fs700 in an action short, but soon snowballed into a larger story with bigger themes. I was mostly excited at the time to film an actor diving through the air in slow motion firing his guns, lol. Not only did I tick that off the bucket list, but I had a great time pulling off some even funner shots throughout the day.
I used the Fs700 coupled with the metabones smart adapterII and a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 MkI. We pulled out the jib for a few shots, found a little wooden platform with wheels in the warehouse (which was a surprisingly good dolly system!) and a combination of handheld or on the shoulder for the rest.
The Anomaly
"An unusual energy signal of unknown origin prompts a secret military mission to assess the nature of this mysterious force"

We'll be doing a behind the scenes soon. Hope you enjoy!
