FS700 + O7Q + TIMECODE! Issues... possibly because I'm dumb

Ok - so I'm trying to wrap my head around using TC with the FS7Q combo. The LTC Input works, but only when it's receiving TC from a generator. I see that in the most recent release notes CD says that there is an Internal TC Generator, but only for Rec Run, TOD and TOD drop frame. Just to confirm (which may seem dumb to some, but not to me) that there is NO way we can jam sync from the LTC in while it gets the signal, but then disconnect. That would be AMAZINGLY useful if it's something I just missed or will be activated soon (probably not soon enough for me though! the shoot i'd need it for is in a week)

So then I tried to use the LTC output to Jam a PIX 240i (acting as a stand in for an audio recorder) to see if I can jam another recorder to the TOD that the O7Q is generating. Not ideal, but it would get the job done! I could not get the LTC output to work though. I just read that you have to be recording for it to seed timecode out, so I'm about to try that, but that's another PITA...

Any clues on this?

My third solution would be to buy or rent a Lockit Sync Box, which would then JAM with the audio recorder, and then constantly feed into the LTC IO port of the O7Q. Not a huge deal, but would love to not have to use that little box...

Am I right in all these assumptions.. has anyone had any luck working with TC and the O7Q? I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for a run and gun shoot where plural eyes is trying to be avoided. I'm going to have a wireless hop to my camera as well, but don't want to totally rely on that either. Would love to have TC and the hop to make it super redundant and super easy for sync.

I am a TC noob and would love any advice/tips/tricks/anything to help make this easy. I was hoping the O7Q could jam to the LTC input much like the PIX can, but maybe I was being too presumptuous.

ALSO - if anyone has had any experiences with TC and switching between 4k2HD and the 2k Raw mode and if TC holds during the reset/functions. Even if it doesn't have the TC right during the slow mo stuff, having it kick back into the right TC when you go back to 4k2hd would be amazing...

Had already googled and just googled again and can't find the post where they specifically say it. Only in one post does Dan Keaton to say to keep the LTC timecode seed connected. I was guessing that jamming was not possible in the current firmware. Would be nice to have though.

I'm still having issues with the LTC out, though I've worked around the sync issue with a Lockit box now, which works perfectly if it's tethered to the LTC input. I'd love to hear anyones experiences with running a lockit also while doing slowmo work with the cam, if anyone's done that.

I'd love to hear more about TC functionality that they have planned though... especially if we can jam.

I spent about 10 min. looking and couldn't find it either. I think it's in one of the two threads under FS700 about the two recent updates.
I take it your Idea is to Take the Timecode from the FS700 and Use It to Jam sync your Recorder, yes? Is it Working? What Recorder Are You Using? (sorry about the bad capitalization).
