FS700 Included Mic on a Boompole?

Hey all, i'm investing a bit in sound for my FS700. Just ordered these particular items.

I've got a mic stand that i hope to clamp all this to with that last item, the grip head.

My main question is this, and it's kind of FS700 specific so i'm asking here rather than the sound forum...

The FS700 mic comes with it's own, odd looking, t-bar kind of shock mount thingy. Well, i wouldn't mind using that directly on the boompole if it's possible. Would save me from having to buy a shock mount. I'm not even sure if this mini-shotgun mic would fit IN a shock mount. I've screwed this FS700 shock mount to the end of a small tri-pod, also to the end of a mono-pod. I just don't know if the boompole uses the same size screw.

Just wondering if anyone's got experience using the actual FS700 mic on a boompole, and if the included shock mount would actually work on a boompole.

Thanks for any info.

The supplied mic is 21mm diameter, which is pretty standard; it's 162mm long in the body, but the "grip zone" (from the back end to the beginning of the slots) is only 56mm, which is pretty short. If you use it with a softie or similar, you will have even less grip space. If you use it in a blimp, allow about 35mm for a comfortable bend in the cable behind the mic.

I use it with a Rycote mount:

But that mount is 64mm long, and with a windshield on, I only get the mic about 2/3 of the way into the grip. It works though.

OTOH the supplied clamp is only 44mm long, and it's basically a 15mm rod, so easy to mount in various ways. The thread on the bottom of the lower part is 1/4", standard. But I could see it being awkward on a pole. The shock isolation of the supplied mount isn't too good, though.
